What this site is for, how I work, and what I want to be clear about.

A plain-language note about how this portfolio operates, what kind of professional intent sits behind it, and what boundaries I try to keep visible.

Transparency details

Why this page exists

I would rather say these things plainly than leave them to guesswork. If you are here as a client, recruiter, collaborator, or a curious visitor, I want you to understand what this site is for, what kind of professional intent sits behind it, and what boundaries matter to me.

I do not think trust should depend on reading between the lines. This page exists so the site can speak more directly about that.

What this site is for

This site is the public home for Guy Romelle Magayano's work, writing, experiments, and professional direction. It is where I try to make my work legible: how I think, what I build, what I care about, and what kind of problems I want to be trusted with.

It is also meant to help people decide whether there is a real fit for a conversation, collaboration, or opportunity without needing to decode a polished version of me first.

How this work is sustained

This site supports my professional work. That can include consulting, advisory conversations, full-time opportunities, collaborations, or other kinds of serious technical work. I do not want that intent to be hidden.

At the same time, I do not want every page to read like an intake form. The point is not to turn attention into a funnel. The point is to present my work honestly enough that the right conversations can happen for the right reasons.

Recommendations and incentives

If I recommend a tool, pattern, team, or way of working here, I want that recommendation to be read as genuine judgment first, not as a disguised sales layer.

There are no affiliate links, paid placements, or sponsored recommendations on this site today. If that changes in a meaningful way, I would rather label it plainly where it matters than hide it in tone, momentum, or fine print.

Information and boundaries

Like most websites, this one can receive limited technical and communication information needed to operate, understand usage at a high level, and respond clearly when someone reaches out. I do not want data collection to become the point of the site.

  • I do not sell visitor information.
  • I do not run this site as an advertising machine.
  • I do not use hidden sponsorships or disguised paid recommendations.
  • I do not treat direct contact as permission for unrelated follow-up.
  • I do not want to collect more information than is useful for running the site and responding well.

Contact and next steps

If you contact me, I treat that as the start of a direct conversation, not as consent for broad marketing or unrelated outreach.

If I need context to respond well, I may keep only what is useful for that exchange. What I do not want is for a simple inquiry to quietly turn into something broader than the person intended.

If future scheduling, payment, or formal engagement steps need to happen, I would rather handle those through a separate page or flow built for that purpose. A casual message should stay a casual message until both sides are clearly choosing something more formal.

If anything here feels unclear, questions about this page can be sent through the contact page or by emailing Guy Romelle Magayano .

Living note

This page is a living note, not a one-time statement. If the way this site works changes in a meaningful way, I want this page to change with it.
